We are searching for an experienced Senior IT Project Manager to join us in driving significance together.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
This project manager will fulfil a critical role in the client environment in terms of scoping, budgeting, managing risks and issues and setting timelines to deliver on projects. A conceptual and practical application of Business Analysis documentation and the SDLC will assist the Project Manager to be better equipped in solving client problems through diverse service offerings. To succeed in this role, you should be a perceptive and creative leader and a reliable problem-solver.
This role is for an IT Infrastructure implementation specialist, preferably with knowledge and experience in mining production networks including fibre, server, routing and switching. Control and Instrumentation knowledge will also be beneficial.
Required Qualifications
- Tertiary degree, diploma or certificate in a related field (SAFE Agile, SCRUM Certification or Project Management)
- Agile Practitioner is preferred (or prepared to undertake certification soon after onboarding)
Experience and Knowledge:
- 8 – 10 years working experience in Project Management Position
- Additional Experience in the Mining Industry or Banking Industry would be beneficial
- Experience in product lifecycle management
- Software Development Project Experience
- Agile Project Delivery (working in Tribes, Chapters, Feature Teams etc.)
- Working experience as a SCRUM Master (“Project Manager”) or EPIC Owner (“Programmer Manager”)

- Work with senior management to create product plans and roadmaps

- Produce and review product requirements documents (PRD)
- Ensure projects releases are launched correctly and on schedule
