Overview:
The Regional Sales Manager will be accountable for executing the sales plans for the allocated region for the existing products, technologies, and solutions within the Geospatial portfolio and will be responsible for maximising business growth and profitability by selling the company’s products and solutions to new and existing customers, as well as building and maintaining credible client relationships and partnerships.
Duties:
Sales Management:
- Drive sales performance against set targets
- Promote and maintain the company’s brand as well as ensure customer satisfaction by taking control of the delivery process for the prompt delivery of products/service
- Offer quality solutions to meet customer needs by conducting proper research and addressing the customer’s needs and pain points
- Develop methods for growth and maintenance of customer base through actively identifying new sales and market opportunities within the allocated region as well as keeping in contact with loyal/repeat customers
- Prepare and submit sales forecasts to the National Sales Manager on a weekly, monthly, and quarterly basis
- Uphold effective and efficient sales process and administration for accurate and accountable sales processing and practices and properly utilise the CRM software.
Product Management:
- Ensure continuous development and maintenance of own product knowledge for sales excellence
- Liaise with the National Sales Manager to define marketing campaigns and requirements in collaboration with respective product specialist
- Stay up to date with new and upcoming regional product launches and ensure attendance thereof
Customer Management:
- Build and improve on long-term client relationships with key defined customers within the region
- Drive customer satisfaction by ensuring professional, knowledgeable, and friendly customer service delivery throughout the region
- Ensure the provision of timely and effective solutions aligned with client’s needs
- Make customers feel valued and involved by requesting their feedback thereby creating constant improvement in product and service offerings
Qualifications, skills, and experience required:
- Degree or diploma in Surveying, or equivalent relevant qualification
- Minimum of 3 years experience with Survey; GIS; Construction; Mining or Civil Engineering
- Previous business development, sales, or account management experience would be highly beneficial
Other requirements:
- The successful candidate must have a valid driver’s license and own a suitable and reliable vehicle (the company pays for business kilometers)
- Must be willing and able to travel extensively in the allocated region
