Our client is searching for an experienced Financial Accountant to join their facility. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing financial records, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards, and providing strategic financial insights to support their business goals.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities::
- Processing on Xero up to trail balance. Including all reconciliations
- Payroll processing on SAGE People. Including all reconciliations
- Submission of taxes (PAYE, VAT, Income Tax) and resolving SARS issues
Qualifications, Skills, and experience required:
- Minimum 5 years experience in a financial accounting role
- SAIPA or AGA(SA) registered
- Strong accounting knowledge
- SARS e-filing experience (VAT, EMP, Income Tax)
- SAGE People and Xero experience advantageous
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Experience in compiling financial statements would be advantageous
